What's your preference? Fairy tales straight up, with princesses and wizards and dragons? Or do you like your traditional tales served fractured? Tim's repertoire includes both ancient, rarely heard fairy tales, as well as original character monologues that turn familiar fairy tales inside out and bring to life stories you thought were old chestnuts.
For family audiences, Tim tells wonder tales full of adventurous princesses, talking animals, magic spells, brave princes, and fantastic quests. Experienced with preschools and elementary schools, summer camps, Scout troops, school fundraisers, holiday festivals and museum family days, Tim can keep audiences of all ages spellbound!
Need some creepy, macabre stories to set the mood around a campfire? Tim can spin scary stories, from Irish ghost stories to classics of Edgar Allen Poe.
Also: That's Disgusting!, a collection of folktales from around the world focusing on the bodily functions we all experience (but that get left out of most of our literature). Perfect for science museums, campfires, and, let's face it, pretty much anywhere with children.
Schools:
Please note I have very limited availability during the school day, and mostly provide evening and weekend programs.
Comission a Customized Program
If you have a thematic event, ask me about creating a customized program. I've done this for art, history, and science museums, and for corporate events.
